Between place and possibility.

About theSalt

theSalt is an independent cultural platform based in the Caucasus. We work across publishing, visual culture, storytelling, hospitality, and creative collaboration. We are interested in how culture lives in places and how it moves between them.

Mission

We connect independent voices, creative practices, and cultural spaces across Iran, Armenia and the Caucasus. Through writing, image, conversation, and collaboration, we make cultural work visible and open up opportunities for the people who make it.
